The King of Fighters: A New Beginning Manga Licensed For NA By Seven Seas

The King of Fighters: A New Beginning, a manga based on The King of Fighters XIV, has been serialized since last January in Japan, and publisher Seven Seas announced during Anime Fest that they have picked up the license for the series.

According to Seven Seas, the first volume of the manga is set to release in North America in January 2020. Currently, the manga is serialized monthly in Japan, and only three volumes have released so far.

Like The King of Fighters XIV, the game stars many of SNK’s characters, with every fighter in XIV except for Mui Mui, Love Heart, and the DLC characters appearing. As you might expect, the manga plot is tournament-based, and pits the teams against each other in epic battles, with China Team and Shun’ei being part of the story focus.

The King of Fighters XIV is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
