In Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, all of the bachelor and bachelorettes people have known for years are getting new looks. We already saw how Cliff, Karen, Popuri, and Rick will look in the remake. Now, we get to see Doctor, Elli, Gray, and Mary’s new styles. (Thanks, 4Gamer!)
First, here are some before and after pictures. The image on the left is the original character art from past games, while the one on the right is from the Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town remake. As a reminder, if players don’t pursue any of these characters, then in previous games Doctor and Elli pair up and Gray and Mary become a couple.
Here’s Doctor. He’s the responsible and trustworthy physician working in the clinic. However, in each game he has appeared in, he has also been a workaholic.
This is what Elli looks like. Elli is a helpful and responsible nurse who works in the clinic alongside the doctor. She’s known for caring for everyone in the series, especially her grandmother and little brother.
Gray now looks like this. He’s an apprentice blacksmith who works under his grandfather’s tutelage. He’s a gruff candidate that takes a little while to open up.
Finally, here’s Mary. She’s a librarian who works in the library her parents maintain. She’s always been one of the more subdued heroines in the series, who is kind and loves books.
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on October 17, 2019. It will also be released worldwide, though the localization does not have a release date yet.
