SNK shared a peek at what’s to come for Samurai Shodown at Evo 2019, with a look at upcoming DLC characters joining the game starting with Rimururu, and there will be one new character every month in 2019.
Rimururu will lead the way of upcoming DLC characters with a debut on August 7, 2019. In September we’ll get Shizumaru Hisame as a free DLC character, followed by more paid DLC characters with Basara in October, Kazuki Kazama in November, and Wan-Fu in December 2019.
Season 2 was also announced with four additional DLC characters, including one confirmed as Mina Majikina. More information on Season 2 will be announced later.
Samurai Shodown is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’ll release for Nintendo Switch and PC this winter. You can check out some Evo 2019 Gameplay for Rimururu in our previous report.
