Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Free-To-Play Version Delayed To Further Date

Recommended Videos

We reported mid-July that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was getting a new free-to-play version on Nintendo Switch, and while the new version was originally going to come out August 8, 2019, this has been pushed back for a yet-unannounced future date.

According to the official Dragon Ball console game Twitter, the game has been delayed in order to further improve the game’s performance. The new date will be announced when the final decision’s been made, and they apologized once more for making people wait.

Like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite on PS4 and Xbox One, Lite on Nintendo Switch features the first five story episodes with Parallel Quests unlockable up to that point, online battles, Hero Colosseum, and Photo Mode.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite launches for Nintendo Switch in Summer 2019. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
