Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Will Include Four-Player Local Multiplayer

A new Bubble Bobble game is on the way. Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is going to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch and, like the title suggests, the focus this time is on multiplayer. Specifically, this entry will allow four people to play together locally to cooperatively clear puzzles. It will arrive first in Europe on November 19, 2019, before heading to North America in the beginning of 2020.

There will be multiple ways to get Bubble Bobble 4 Friends. Both digital and physical versions are planned from ININ. However, Strictly Limited Games is also working on a collector’s edition. It is unknown what will be included or if it will be available at launch.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is set in a child’s room. The kid’s toys, including Bub the dragon, came to life. Baron von Blubba the magician is jealous of all this, though, and has created new levels for Bub (and friends) to challenge. People can go through the stages alone, with one other friend, or with up to four other people.

Here is the first Bubble Bobble 4 Friends trailer.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will come to the Nintendo Switch in Europe on November 19, 2019 and in North America in the first quarter of 2020.
