Two major Streets of Rage 4 announcements were made ahead of gamescom 2019. First, platforms for the game have been confirmed. It will appear on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2020. When it does, the playable characters will include Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and the all-new Cherry Hunter.
While Cherry Hunter is an entirely new character, she’s connected to a familiar presence. This musician is Adam Hunter’s daughter. He and Axel trained her. But, instead of becoming a cop, she decided to pursue her love of music instead. However, the events of Streets of Rage 4 will force her to put her rock and roll dreams on hold, as she’ll need to use her electric guitar to bust heads instead of play for crowds.

Streets of Rage 4 will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2020. It will be playable at PAX West 2019.
