The New Pokemon Anime Spans All Regions And Seems To Be Continuing The Reboot-verse

Recommended Videos

A new Pokemon anime series has been announced, but it’s not a continuation of Ash’s journey across the Pokemon world… at least not in a traditional sense. The new series is titled Pocket Monster, which is the same as the original run of the show before Advanced Generation.

Check out the teaser trailer below:

According to The Pokemon Company, the new series will take place spanning every region from Kanto to Galar, rather than being a series only focused on Galar. As for the logo, the logo shown is the same as the previous two Pokemon films, being Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! and Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us. These two movies take place in a different universe than the one with the Ash most are familiar with, although some parts are a retelling of the original anime.

More info on the anime series will be revealed on September 29, 2019 in the day’s episode of Pokemon Sun & Moon.
