Umihara Kawase Fresh Will Get Fan-Selected Classic Stages

People are going to have another reason to play Umihara Kawase Fresh very soon, aside from it heading to an additional platform. The fan-voted classic levels are heading to the game in September 2019. More specifically, a recent tweet from Success confirmed a September 18, 2019 Japanese launch date.

In the note, Success said that the Umihara Kawase Fresh 1.03 patch had gone through Lot Check, the Nintendo subsidiary that checks over games. Success apologized for not getting it out in time to coincide with the Tokyo Game Show 2019, which will run from September 11-15, 2019. It then confirmed that it would be adding three retro Umihara Kawase levels to the game in this patch, following the April 27, 2019 survey that went out asking for people to suggest their favorite old levels they’d like to see again.

Umihara Kawase Fresh is available for the Nintendo Switch. A PlayStation 4 version has also been announced and will be appearing at the 2019 Tokyo Game Show.
