Kill La Kill IF Balance Adjustment, Mako, And Ultimate Double Naked DTR Release Windows Updated

Back when Kill la Kill: IF was announced, it was confirmed that eventually Mako Mankanshoku and Ultimate Double Naked DTR would be released as free DLC characters. They had a tentative summer 2019 release window, which has since passed. Now, Arc System Works has issued an apology for the lack of “timely updates” and provided a new schedule showing when people can expect a balance adjustment patch, DTR, and Mako to appear on every platform.

The Kill la Kill: IF balance adjustment will arrive first in patch 1.03. This will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC in mid-September 2019. The Nintendo Switch version won’t appear until November 2019, due to development “taking longer” than expected.

The first free DLC character will be Ultimate Double Naked DTR. They will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and PC at the end of September 2019. However, on the Nintendo Switch, they will arrive in November 2019 in the same patch as the balance adjustments.

Finally, Mako will show up last in the version 1.20 update. This will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC in October 2019, then to the Nintendo Switch in December 2019.

Kill la Kill: IF is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.
