Bandai Namco showcased a brand-new trailer for Tales of Arise at Tokyo Game Show 2019, where we got to see more from Alphen and Shionne plus a glimpse at a mysterious new character.

 

A man numb to pain, and woman whose very touch deals nothing but…pain. How will the story unfold between Alphen and Shionne?

Astral Artes is magic that comes from Astral Energy. Those from Rena can use Astral Artes, and when they do you’ll see a light in their eyes as shown with Shionne in the above screenshot.

The flaming sword is powered by Astral Energy. It constantly burns the hand of the wielder, so only Alphen who doesn’t feel pain is able to use it.
