See What Its Like To Face The TGS 2019 Nioh 2 Demo’s Boss

Recommended Videos

At TGS 2019, attendees were able to sample a new Nioh 2 demo and get a taste of its gameplay. Now, PlayStation Access has shown exactly what this demo looks like. It is a full playthrough and involves actually beating its boss, something apparently only 5% of the people who tried it at the event did.

The Nioh 2 demo is completely in English, and it takes place in Jusanzakura in March 1555. It starts off by pitting players against some basic enemies and introducing basic attacks and concepts like Ki Pulses. But then, after encountering Kou Shibusawa, you find yourself tasked with defeating Mezuki, a horse yokai boss.

Here is the Nioh 2 demo footage. The boss fight begins at the 6:50 mark.

Nioh 2 will appear on the PlayStation 4 in early 2020.
