This week’s Arcade Archives lineup release by Hamster onto the Nintendo Switch eShop is Scramble, a 1981 Konami arcade shoot ‘em up which can be said to be one of the origins of the famous Gradius series.

In this game, players need to fight against enemies using their gun and bombs, but must also look out for their fuel gauge, which can only be refilled by bombing fuel tanks on the surface. This game is known for being the first-ever multi-level shmup.
