Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix Performs Its New Gyro-Controlled Mix Mode

Recommended Videos

Sega has released a new trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix, focusing on the game’s two methods of play – Arcade mode, and the new Mix Mode.

In particular, Mix Mode sees a strong focus on the trailer, and the trailer shows how the mode will use the separate Joy-Cons for gyro controls and the L/R buttons. It seems that there will be three notes, one for L, one for R, and hold-type notes. Whether there will be notes that require overlapping button presses has yet to be seen.

Of course, for people who prefer the more traditional experience, or people with a Nintendo Switch Lite, Arcade Mode has got your back with traditional buttons.

Check out the trailer below:

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix releases for Nintendo Switch in Japan on February 13, 2020. The game releases in the West in 2020 for Switch. The ten additional songs coming to Mega Mix will be added to Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone as an additional paid DLC later on.
