In a week full of big Western game releases like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and WWE 2K20, the Japanese game scene has quieted down for a bit, with Game Freak’s Giga Wrecker Alt. and the Japanese Switch version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which was massively delayed, being some of the only notable releases.
There’s also Dusk Diver, the Taiwanese 3D action game taking place in Ximending, and its dark reflection Youshanding. Players control regular schoolgirl Yang Yumo as she awakens mysterious powers, and work together with the mysterious Kunlunian guardians in order to defeat monsters appearing in an alternate dimension.
Oh, and PlayStation Vita once again rises from the dead with a digital release of visual novel Aerial Life.
