A minor delay has hit the Japanese release of Hatsune Miku VR, the VR music game from Crypton Future Media and Degica. Instead of reaching a whole new region by heading to consoles on November 12, 2019, the PlayStation Store product page now says it will arrive about a month later on December 5, 2019.
The Hatsune Miku VR PlayStation VR will be quite similar to the PC version available worldwide. (You can get it on Steam.) It has nine songs that can be played at different difficulty levels, and you can change her outfit from the original to, say, Snow Miku. The song pack DLC will even be available on that platform.
In the meantime, there is still an alternative Hatsune Miku VR game available worldwide. Sega’s Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is available and has received DLC. However, rather than a more traditional music game, it’s a concert sim where you sit in the audience and use the PlayStation Move controller like a glowstick.
Hatsune Miku VR will appear on the PlayStation VR in Japan on December 5, 2019. It is immediately available on PCs worldwide for people with an HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or Valve Index.
