In Japan, Today’s Menu for Emiya Family is a slice-of-life series in an alternate reality where characters like Shiro Emiya, Saber, Rin Tohsaka, and Sakura Matou gather together to relax and cook together in peace. There’s a manga series and a 13 episode original net animation, which is streaming on Crunchyroll.

The Everyday: Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family site and initial trailer offer some insights into how the game will be played. Saber, Rin, and Sakura will all cook together with Shiro in a game with an original story. Each recipe can have multiple steps, like chopping, simmering, measuring, whisking, and cooking, with players getting graded with up to three stars for each one. It also appears that each cook will eventually level up as she earns stars, with the first video showing a gauge below Saber showing her proficiency after making a curry.

Here’s the announcement tweet revealing Saber stepping up to possibly steal the Cooking Mama crown in Everyday: Today’s Menu for Emiya Family.

Everyday: Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family will be released on the Nintendo Switch in Japan in Spring 2020. It will be available as a download via the eShop.
