Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is based on the original Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS game, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team. It has a new art style, but the same roguelike experiences as before.

In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, players discover that they are a human who has been turned into a Pokemon. Fortunately, they quickly make a friend. While trying to find out what is going on, they work together to help save other Pokemon from mystery dungeons.

Each mystery dungeon is randomized. You head in with your Pokemon and a partner and use the skills the characters are known for to fight other Pokemon. You also have the opportunity to befriend more characters as you travel through different spaces. Since it is a Pokemon title, though, it is a little less punishing and harsh than other Mystery Dungeon games.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 6, 2020. The demo will be released today.
