So far we’ve been seeing the Guilty Gear -Strive- character videos in pairs, but today we have just one with Faust. Check it out below:

Faust

Faust is a trickster with a variety of moves that make him hard to deal with. You’ll never know what you’ll get when he throws his items. The first move we see is ‘Mix Mix Mix’ which allows Faust to attack opponents while moving freely. During the move, you can control where he moves to an extent, making it a difficult move to punish.

His move ‘What Could This Be?’ is where he tosses a random item into the air. There’s a different variety of items and each with their own effects. Not many of these items have immediate effects, it is good to cancel this move from a normal move at the range of far slash or crouching-heavy slash. ‘Snip Snip Snip’ is an inescapable grab move that changes the opponent’s hair into an afro. Since you can actually hit the afros, it makes it easier for Faust to land a jump kick or jump dust.

Guilty Gear -Strive- will release for the PlayStation 4 in late 2020. The closed beta test keys have been going out but the test will take place from April 16 to April 19, 2020.
