Created by Kohei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia posits a near-future “Superhuman Society”, where most people are born with a superpowered “Quirk”. In such a world there exist “Pro Heroes” that fight crime and defend the innocent. Above all other Pro Heroes is All Might, the strongest superhuman and the “Symbol of Peace.” My Hero Academia protagonist Izuku Midoriya was born “quirkless” and without powers, until he encounters All Might, who just so happens to be looking for someone to take over his job as the Symbol of Peace.

My Hero Academia is based on the manga currently running in manga magazine G, and recently wrapped up its fourth season. The first season consists of 12 episodes, and covers events happening up to the encounter at USJ. It has since inspired the fighting games My Hero One’s Justice and My Hero One’s Justice 2, both available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
