Wedding Season items are now available to obtain in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, thanks to a new event. For a limited time, players can obtain these items by participating in photo shoots on Harvey’s island. This event starts June 1, 2020 and will last until June 30, 2020. Remember to update your version of Animal Crossing before jumping back into the game, otherwise you won’t be able to experience the event. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
You’re probably wondering what this entails. It’s really as simple as you think it is. First, you’ll need to go to Harvey’s island, Phototopia, to participate in the Wedding Season Animal Crossing event. Harvey will have given you the jist of things from the phone call you’ll have gotten when leaving your house. However, when you arrive you will be greeted with a special event. Reese and Cyrus are celebrating their wedding anniversary, and they need your help.
This is when the event comes into play. Go inside the studio to speak to Reese. After that, you’ll need to decorate the studio to meet her specifications. This event can be done every day to collect Heart Crystals. The better you do, the more Heart Crystals you will obtain. Naturally, these can be used to purchase recipes for Wedding Season items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
