Death Note and Super Groupies Collaboration Includes A Stylish Watch, Bag, and Wallet

Death Note and Japanese retailer Super Groupies will collaborate to release limited edition accessories based on the series. These will include a watch, a bag, and a wallet. Inspired by the main character of the series, Light Yagami, fans can wear accessories reminiscent of the one and only Kira. These items will be available to order internationally through the official Super Groupies and Death Note collaboration page. The watch will cost ¥29,800 or $277, the bag will cost ¥13,800 which is roughly $128, and the wallet will cost ¥9,800 or $91. You can pre-order the items now, and they are expected to ship on August 11, 2020. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

As you can see below, the collaboration watch is inspired by the model Light Yagami wears throughout the series. It is a discreet piece of merchandise, as the only branding is on the back of the watch. The Death Note logo is engraved there, along with an imagine of the shinigami, Ryuk. You can check out pictures of the watch below.

The Death Note and Super Groupies collaboration bag is another piece of discreetly branded merchandise. A small Ryuk charm is attached to the straps with “Once dead, they can never come back to life” engraved into the leather along with Light’s lifespan. Additionally, on the inside of the leather bag there is a hidden pocket designed to look like the Death Note with Light’s name written inside. You can see these details in the images below.

And finally, there is the wallet. Much like the bag and the watch, the wallet carries the same kind of branding. Black or white leather are the available options, and both wallets come with the same silver embellishment as the bag. Additionally, inside of the wallet you can see a pattern that resembles pages of the Death Note.

Once again, these items will be available to order internationally. So if you’re a fan of the series and have been waiting to get your hands on new merchandise, here is your opportunity. Pre-orders for these items are now available, and like mentioned above, will be shipped out on August 11, 2020.
