The Rising is the annual event in Final Fantasy XIV that celebrates the anniversary of the game’s relaunch as A Realm Reborn, and it returns for the seventh year on August 27, 2020.
The Rising is known for bringing a splash of color to Ul’dah, and this year’s event is expected to be especially vibrant. J’bhen Tia’s exhibition of stained glass will show memories of a pivotal moment in Eorzea’s history. He’ll need your help to ensure that the event proceeds without a hitch.
Adventurers can start the event quest by speaking to J’bhen Tia located in Ul-dah – Steps of Nald (X:10.3 Y8.3). The minimum level requirement is 15.
Since the start of the event in 2014, The Rising has always included exclusive Minions based on key characters of the game. Other items such as furnishing, Orchestrion Rolls, and more were always included in past events. This year, the main prize is the Wind-up Ardbert Minion. Furnishing includes The Sultana’s Seven.
The Rising 2020 will be available in Final Fantasy XIV starting August 27, 2020 at 12:00 am PDT. It will end on September 14, 7:59 am PDT.
