Get ready to make time to settle it with Spirits in Super Smash Bros Ultimate this weekend. Nintendo has announced a Paper Mario: The Origami King SSBU Spirits event. Starting on August 28, 2020, three of the origami stars will be available to earn through fights on the Spirit Board. You’ll have until September 2, 2020 to collect them.
Nintendo announced these new SSBU Spirits via the Japanese Twitter account. While we don’t know what the actual battles will look like yet or what the Spirits’ abilities will be, we do know who will appear thanks to the promotional image. People who take the time to fight could add King Olly, Princess Peach, and Olivia to their collection.
This is the second Super Smash Bros Ultimate update to add something new in August 2020. Earlier this month, Small Battlefield appeared. Also, in July 2020 we saw an Octopath Traveler Spirit Board event, while Min Min showed up as the ARMS representative and latest DLC fighter back in June 2020.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available for the Nintendo Switch, as is Paper Mario: The Origami King. All three of The Origami King SSBU Spirits will be available between August 28-September 2, 2020.
