We’ve yet to get a first look at Golden Frieza in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but he will have the following moves:

  • Golden Death Ball
  • Golden Edge
  • Golden Death Slicer
  • Golden Rush

So that means instead of just a powered-up reskin of Frieza, he’ll come with a different set of moves. Fortunately, it appears that you won’t have to worry about having any of Frieza’s subordinates shooting you from the background. No further information is known about the Golden Frieza, but he will appear as a boss character in the “A New Power Awakens – Part 2” DLC. The report also mentions that it doesn’t seem like he’ll be a playable character.

The release date for the second Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC still remains unknown. As for Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, they’ll have new moves like “Ultimate Galick Gun” and the “Ultimate Big Kamehameha” to go with a big power-up. By the sounds of it, they’ll need the extra power to take on Golden Frieza. You can check out more on Goku and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue forms here.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
