Irem is bringing their Disaster Report series back to the big screen. Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories (known as Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 4: Summer Memories) in Japan begins with an earthquake in 201X.
The hero in this game is highly customizable. You can select a gender, hairstyle, clothes, and visage before the disaster strikes. Once the city is in chaos your goal is to escape. Disaster Report 4 lets players enter buildings and equip new items like crutches, which let you move faster on an injured leg. Hygiene plays a role in the game and can affect relationships with other characters. Going to the bathroom restores this parameter.
Famitsu’s info box pegs Disaster Report 4 for release this winter. Irem’s game supports 3DTVs and PlayStation Move. Details about PlayStation Move controls were not announced at this time.
While Disaster Report 3 was not localized, it appears Irem themselves are publishing R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate in North America.
