Arc System Works revealed a brand-new character for Guilty Gear -Strive- named Giovanna, and she’s quite the kicker. Additionally, we got a little teaser at the end of the trailer showing the fan-favorite Anji Mito.

The trailer gives us an idea of how Giovanna fights, which is a mix of kick attacks and her spirit wolf-like companion by her side at all times. She’s the bodyguard of the President of the United States. During the currently-ongoing live stream, Arc System Works described her as a character who is easy to pick up for beginners.
At the end of her reveal trailer, we get a teaser showing the fan-wielding Anji Mito. In any case, we’ll have to wait until the next reveal video to see some actual moves from Anji. The video also notes that the next trailer will arrive on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2021. In the meantime, we get to see more of Giovanna and her moves.

Guilty Gear -Strive-Â will release for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and arcades in 2021.
