Sega 60th Anniversary Steam Sale

Sega 60th Anniversary Steam Sale Brings the Hits and More to PC

Up until relatively recently, Sega was best known for console games and Sonic the Hedgehog, but these days it’s actually a pretty prominent PC publisher, with a large presence thanks to franchises like Total War and Company of Heroes. That makes the Sega 60th Anniversary Steam Sale a pretty juicy event for those looking for a PC-based deal or two.

In keeping with Sega 60th Anniversary sales for other platforms, the Steam sale brings big cuts to titles across the Sega and Atlus catalog. There’s also the added advantage of the PC having a somewhat wider range of Sega-published titles to choose from.

The discounts themselves are quite large to, in some cases going up to 95% off. Titles like Bayonetta, Alien: Isolation, and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III cost less than the price of a premium coffee as of this writing. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is also free to keep from October 9 to 18, 2020, and a number of titles are free to try for the sale duration.

The more event-minded can also tune in to Sega’s steam pages to check out special streams, interviews, exclusive mini-games created specifically for the event, and other goodies. The exclusive mini-games will be distributed free from October 15-18.
