Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Trailer Offers a Deeper Look at Eivor’s Life

People can get a better idea of what Assassin’s Creed Valhalla life will be like for their avatar, Eivor. Ubisoft released an extensive new trailer that goes over every element of gameplay. It talks about the avatar you create, the motivations for the viking Raven Clan to head to England, and how you can essentially make history as you go through the game.

The video begins with the Raven Clan leader Eivor as they sail with allies and explore different ruins as the group attempts to build up a settlement and make a name for themselves. You can see what it’s like to make plans for a life in England, work with other people living in the country, and increasing your own foothold. As you interact with the different leaders, either with violent assassinations or more civil means, you’ll have chances to build up your settlement. Brute strength, faster melee attacks, slower two-handed attacks, and ranged combat were shown, as well as the skill trees to improve them.

The character creation element gets a lot of attention starting at the 3:45 mark of the trailer. People can choose between using a male or female avatar. They aren’t locked into this decision, though. The video pointed out you can switch Eivor’s gender at any time when you play. You can also choose who your Jomsviking lieutenant and raider crew are and look like.

Here’s the full Assassin’s Creed Valhalla trailer, offering an extensive almost seven and a half minute look at the game.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Stadia on November 10, 2020. You will only find it on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store however, as it won’t be on Steam. It will come to the PlayStation 5 on November 12, 2020.
