Destruction Allstars Delayed, but Will Be a PlayStation Plus Game

We have something of a good news/bad news situation ahead of us. The bad news is, Sony delayed Destruction Allstars. The aggressive racing game won’t be a PlayStation 5 launch game now. It’ll be out in February 2021 instead. However, the good news involves a Destruction Allstars PlayStation Plus debut. When it does launch, people who subscribe will be able to add it to their game libraries for free.

Sony didn’t explain why the game is being pushed back three months. However, its PlayStation Blog announcement did emphasize how critical it is to have a large userbase for a multiplayer online game like this. As such, the Destruction Allstars PlayStation Plus run will start in February 2021 and end when March 2021 does. Typically, an Instant Game Collection addition is only available for one month.

The Destruction Allstars refund situation was also addressed in the update. Sony said that regardless of where someone bought the game, expecting to get it at launch, they will get their money back. This is especially useful for people who are active PlayStation Plus members, as it means they don’t need to worry about being out the money even with the free copy headed their way.

As a reminder, here’s what the game looks like:

Destruction Allstars will come to the PlayStation 5 in February 2021 and will be a PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection addition.
