SMT3 Nocturne HD Remaster

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster Streaming Guidelines Published

Atlus has posted video streaming guidelines for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster on its website. The company explained the necessity for having these guidelines, as there will be some people who will play SMT3 Nocturne HD Remaster for the first time.

Recommended Videos

Atlus generally allows players to stream and share gameplay videos of SMT3 Nocturne HD Remaster, as long as they do it only for personal use and not for commercial use. The “©ATLUS ©SEGA” copyright markings must also be clearly visible somewhere on the page. If the videos contain any story-related content such as event cutscenes, the players will be required to mark them with spoiler warnings. The guidelines specifically discourage footages of final boss battles and ending events from any routes from being posted.

The guidelines also prohibit secondary derivative uses of the footages, publishing videos with a sole focus on the background music, publishing on websites that are locked behind a paywall, and connecting the videos to slander anyone. When Atlus sends a request to take a video down, the player must immediately comply with that.

Atlus has been known to have streaming restrictions for its story-heavy games. Previously, the company also published streaming guidelines for Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5 Scramble, and the recent PC port of Persona 4 Golden.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on October 29, 2020. The western English release will come later in Spring 2021.
