Koei Tecmo has revealed La Corda d’Oro Starlight Orchestra, a character-raising simulation game that will be available for mobile devices in 2021 in Japan. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
This project is made in cooperation between Koei Tecmo and Aniplex. The characters are designed by Shinobu Takayama, a mangaka artist who is the most well known for Amatsuki and Haigakura. The title will also have animations made by CloverWorks, which previously also made The Promised Neverland and Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia. It will also have a theme song titled “Birthday” by DISH//.
Starlight Orchestra is a brand-new title in the series that will see an expansion in its world setting. While the series usually takes place at Seiso Academy in Yokohama, this title will expand the scope to the entirety of Japan and even the whole world. The game’s protagonist will head out to scout orchestra members and aim to become Japan’s representative group in the International Students Orchestra Competition.

La Corda d’Oro (also known in Japan as Kiniro no Corda) is a series of otome games from Koei Tecmo’s Ruby Party brand distinctively known for its musical school theme. The latest console title in the series is La Corda d’Oro Octave, which added a rhythm action segment and was released for PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 14, 2019.
La Corda d’Oro Starlight Orchestra will be available on Android and iOS mobile devices in 2021.
