Pre-orders are now open for the Sesshomaru Nendoroid are now open through the official Good Smile Company website. Originally revealed in October, this stone faced Nendoroid is now available to pre-order until January 6, 2020. This Nendoroid will cost ¥5,300/$50.99 and is expected to release in June 2021 for Japan and July 2021 for North America. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The Sesshomaru Nedoroid will come with three face plates, two fur attachments, three right hand parts, three weapon attachments, three right arm parts and two left arm parts. You can take a look at the figure below.
As you can see above, the various hands allow the Sesshomaru to hold his weapons and brandish his Poison Claws. The swords include the Tensaiga and Bakusaiga. He could potentially be the perfect addition to a collection of someone that already purchased the Inuyasha Nendoroid, as seen in the final image.
It was recently confirmed that the original English voice actor for Sesshomaru will be returning to reprise his role in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. Other members of the English voice cast were also confirmed with this announcement, including the voice for Inuyasha. Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon stars the twin daughters of the demon Sesshomaru, and is a sequel to the popular manga and anime Inuyasha.
The Sesshomaru Nendoroids will appear in June 2021 in Japan and July 2021 in North America.
