Here’s how the fix will work. People who attempt to download some games or applications from the PlayStation Store might find them trapped in a PS5 queued for download trap at 0%. It never shows up in their list and never downloads. The Ask PlayStation Twitter account says starting the console in Safe Mode, which is triggered by turning off the system, then holding the power button until it beeps twice.
Once you hear the second beep, the PS5 will start in Safe Mode. Seven menu options will appear. You’ll want the fifth one, “Rebuild Database.” As the PlayStation support page notes, this can help with game freezes. After that, check the PlayStation Store and the game’s page to see if the queued for download error remains.
