Crash Bandicoot 4 106% Competion

Video Shows New Logo In Game After Crash Bandicoot 4 106% Completion

Early on November 29, 2020, Twitter user @kimmotman tweeted a video that is reportedly from Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time that contains an unidentified logo, which evidently appeared after achieving 106% completion. This has lead to speculation among some of the people who have seen it.

The logo appears briefly on the CRT television that sits on the beach in Crash Bandicoot 4’s first level, Rude Awakening. Whenever the player uses Crash’s spin attack on the TV, it switches to a new screen. Prior to this logo appearing, the television cycles through the title screens of the first three Crash Bandicoot games. Once a player reaches 106% completion of the game, however, the logo becomes part of the cycle.

Because of the company it keeps on the screen, one theory suggests that the game’s developer, Toys for Bob, might be teasing yet another Crash Bandicoot game. It’s worth noting that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was announced more than twenty years after the release of its predecessor, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. An announcement for a new game hidden in Crash Bandicoot 4 would mean the developers had plans for a sequel before they had any indication of revenue.

For the moment, there is no official word from the developer or publisher about what this logo might mean. There is, however, a Crash Bandicoot mobile game in the works that currently has a launch window for Spring 2021. As far as other Crash products go, Good Smile Company plans to release a Crash Bandicoot Nendoroid in June of next year.

Crash Bandicoot 4: Just in Time is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4
