Spoiler-Filled Hajimari No Kiseki Art Book Now on Sale

Nihon Falcom announced a must have item for Trails fans: The Legend of Heroes Hajimari no Kiseki art book, Official Visual Collection. The book contains all sorts of never-before-printed illustrations, storyboards, and even a spoiler-filled interview with Nihon Falcom’s president. The book is currently on sale for 2,970 yen (including tax) at retailers such as Amazon. (Thanks, Dengeki!)

The Legend of Heroes Hajimari no Kiseki art book, Official Visual Collection, is a hefty tome at 224 pages. Published by Kadokawa, fans should note that the collection is entirely in Japanese. However, the book is available digitally via Kindle or in its oversized physical version.

The collection promises in-game event images, character art, annotated character sheets, storyboards, and illustrations of the “Photographs of Memories” ending from the game. Much of the art in the Hajimari no Kiseki art book has never been in print before. Additionally, the book contains a must-see, spoiler-filled interview with Falcom’s president, Toshihiro Kondo. Among the topics, Kondo discusses Hajimari no Kiseki‘s story, characters, the “what if” worlds of the Trails series, and the various story beats that this title foreshadows.

The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki released on the PlayStation 4 in Japan in August 2020. Nihon Falcom announced at Falcom Day 2020 Winter that both Nintendo Switch and Steam versions are in the works as well. Although no publishers have announced a western release yet, the Trails series continues to grow in popularity worldwide.

The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki is currently available for the PlayStation 4 in Japan and Asia. The Switch and Steam versions will release in Summer 2021. The Hajimari no Kiseki art book is on sale now.
