Koei Tecmo announced that it will be partnering with the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs using its Samurai Warriors franchise. A total of eleven locations throughout Japan, mostly at Japanese museums, will feature life-sized installations of the historical figures seen throughout the Samurai Warriors series. Additionally, there are plans for a stamp rally and the selling of special collaboration merchandise. However, more information about these details will be released at a later time.

Some of the locations that will feature the Samurai Warriors tie-in include Azuchi Castle, the Osaka History Museum, Gifu Prefectural Museum, and the Hideyoshi Kiyomasa Memorial Hall. The official website mentions that due to the popularity of the Samurai Warriors franchise, the Agency for Cultural Affairs would like to make these locations more attractive to guests and tourists. The website also states that the event period may be changed due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19.

In October 2020, Koei Tecmo held a survey asking feedback from fans regarding the Samurai Warriors series. This included general questions about enjoyment of the series, and why consumers might have dropped the franchise in favor of something else.
