Demon Slayer Tamagotchi Hashira

Demon Slayer Tamagotchi Hashira Models Will Release Worldwide

Bandai has made nine different Tamagotchi from their Demon Slayer Tamagotchi Hashira Gathering series available to pre-order via Amazon. These models are inspired by nine swordmasters of the Demon Slayer Corps called the “Hashira.” The Hashira series was previously only available to purchase in Japan, but this listing indicates that some are set to release worldwide on August 1, 2021.

Despite this worldwide release, the pre-orders are still for the Japanese version of the device, meaning the text on the packaging and in the programming will be in Japanese. English instructions will, however, be available on Bandai’s official website.

For the most part, these Tamagotchi will work the way you might expect them to if you’ve ever used a Tamagotchi before. Users will raise a Demon Slayer which will evolve based on how it is trained and treated. These models will also feature the addition of Physical Training, Boulder Lifting, and Total Concentration games. Neglected Demon Slayers will sustain injury which will require treatment to keep them alive.

The upcoming models are currently priced at $24.99 and are considered Prime Eligible. The nine different varieties of the Hashira series are the Giyutchi, Gyomeitchi, Kyojurotchi, Mitsuritchi, Muichirotchi, Obanaitchi, Sanemitchi, Shinobutchi, and Tengentchi models. In addition to the Hashira series models, customers can pre-order the Zenitsutchi and Inosuketchi  Demon Slayer Tamagotchi, which are expected to release on June 1, 2021, the same day as the worldwide release of the Evatchi Rei Tamagotchi from Bandai’s series of Evangelion models.
