Norman Reedus Death Stranding Sam Porter Bridges Figma

Norman Reedus’ Death Stranding Character Appears as a Figma

Good Smile Factory and Max Factory have revealed a new figma figure based on Norman Reedus’ Death Stranding character Sam Porter Bridges. The figure will be available in two different editions. Pre-orders of the figure are immediately available until March 17, 2021. The finished product is expected to ship from October 2021 in Japan and November 2021 in the U.S.

The figma has been supervised by Kojima Productions, the developer studio behind Death Stranding. Max Factory used a robust 3D paintwork to reproduce Norman Reedus’ face. The regular edition of Sam’s figma will come with a small cargo case, an assault case, and of course, the BB. It will be available at $94.99.

The more complete DX Edition is also available. Although it is obviously more expensive at $121.99, the DX edition adds more cargo cases along with a floating carrier, a bola gun, and protectors to make Sam fully equipped.

Pre-ordering Sam’s figma from Good Smile Online Shop—both regular and DX editions—will come with an exclusive stand bearing Bridges’ insignia and the Death Stranding logo. The Japanese press release also revealed that a figma of Cliff, another character from the title who is performed by Mads Mikkelsen, is currently being produced and will be available at a later date.

Previously in August 2020, Good Smile Company released a chibi-sized Nendoroid figure of Sam Porter Bridges. It also made a Nendoroid of Cliff, released three months later in November 2020.

Sam Porter Bridges is a character played by Norman Reedus in Death Stranding, a Hideo Kojima game available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
