It took a while, but the February 2021 Nintendo Direct offered a chance to see SaGa Frontier Remastered again. Square Enix revealed the updated version of the RPG back in 2020 and offered a tentative Summer 2021 release window. Now, we know the RPG will be back in April 15, 2021.
As is common with the SaGa series, SaGa Frontier offers people multiple playable characters to choose from. There were seven people in the original game. You choose which one to follow and your decisions could shape the course of each person’s story.
As a reminder, SaGa Frontier Remastered is more than a simple rerelease. It will also include new content. Back when Square Enix announced it, it revealed Fuse. He’s a new character with his own storyline.
SaGa Frontier Remastered will appear on April 15, 2021. The game originally appeared in North America and Japan on the PlayStation.
