A replica of Shinobu Kocho’s Nichirin blade from Demon Slayer is now available for preorder in Japan through the Premium Bandai official store page. Though not-to-scale like the other Nichirin blades announced by Bandai, this replica will similarly feature a total of 35 different voice lines and sound effects, as well as two different modes. The price of the replica is ¥5995 (about $56). Preorders will end at 11pm JST on April 14, 2021, and the sword will ship some time during the same month. Preorders may end early depending on stock. Like her sword in the series, this 55cm-long replica will feature Shinobu’s signature orange and green flower hilt. Double clicking the button on the handle will activate two different modes. The “Insect Breathing” mode will play sound effects and phrases to emulate the feeling of being in combat, including her signature “Butterfly Dance” move. The second “Famous Scene” mode will play some of Shinobu’s most popular phrases and voice lines from the anime. To symbolize the Insect Hashira’s abilities, the replica will also have clear purple butterflies attached to the blade that will light up when switching modes.
