Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Patch Fixes a PS5 Issue

Another major Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends PS5 patch is here. Koei Tecmo Europe announced the update’s launch via Twitter. Rather than fix any PS4 elements, it is designed to eliminate a visual issue. People should be able to install 1.03 immediately.

While brief, the official European website offered an exact note going over what changed. (However, it offered that brief announcement at the end of February 2021.) Apparently, enemies were vibrating on the PS5.

Here are Koei Tecmo’s short Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends 1.03 patch notes regarding the PS5 issue.

Corrected an issue in which, if playing on a PlayStation®5 console, the graphics of enemies would sometimes vibrate during battles.

One of the last patches for the game appeared all the way back in 2014. Back then, it offered people the option to choose Japanese voice acting when playing the game. Initially, both the PS4 and Vita versions also had issues that required patches to fix.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends is available for the PS4, PS4, Vita, and PC. It is playable on the PS5. It was followed by the Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires update for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and PC worldwide. (That version is also available on the Switch in Japan.)
