Namely, that people will get to see what the company is billing as a “full game reveal trailer” for Forspoken, formerly Project Athia, in 2021.

Here’s the latest Forspoken trailer. While this video does have a 2:12 running time, compared to the previous trailer’s 2:14, there’s more footage and Ella Balinska commentary. This cut has the scene with Frey encountering the dragon sooner. It also has Balinska offering more details about the role and shows Frey fighting a bear at the 1:20 mark.

Square Enix revealed Luminous Studio’s Project Athia back in June 2020. The developer used Luminous Engine to create its open, procedurally generated world. People follow Frey, a woman who’s brought to a different world and needs to explore and fight to survive. Its official site is open and offers a newsletter signup, but a lot of details about the game still haven’t been revealed.

Forspoken, formerly Project Athia, will launch in 2022 on the PlayStation 5 and PC.
