Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is pulling out the stops for its ongoing Final Fantasy XV crossover event, which features the addition of a new Neo Vision unit, Cobalt Blade Noctis.

Cobalt Blade Noctis is based on Final Fantasy XV‘s protagonist, Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum. In 2016’s Final Fantasy XV, Noctis and his companions Gladio, Prompto, and Ignis leave their home city on a road trip to take Noctis to meet his fiancee, princess Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. Players will get to try Noctis out via his intro quest.
Cobalt Blade Noctis is the third version of Noctis to be added to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, after Crown Prince Noctis and standard Noctis. Cobalt Blade Noctis is capable of undergoing a Brave Shift, which changes his abilities and characteristics mid-battle. For example, in Brave Shift, his Dragoon-style Jump attack strikes faster and does more damage. Cobalt Blade Noctis is also the first version of Noctis available as a Neo Vision unit.
The Final Fantasy Brave Exvius x Final Fantasy XV collaboration event also adds the 5-Star support unit Cindy. Based on Cindy Aurum, head mechanic at the Hammerhead Garage and friend to Noctis, Cindy can be upgraded up to 7-Star rarity and specializes in support. She can boost friendly units, clear status effects, refill MP and limit burst gauge, and enhance their effectiveness against Machina enemies. A Neo Vision Awakenable version of Nyx, star of the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV film is also available. Existing Final Fantasy XV units like Gladio, Lunafreya, and others will all have increased drop rates in the premium summon for the duration of the collaboration event.
The Final Fantasy XV x Final Fantasy Brave Exvius collaboration event will run from April 16, 2021 until May 12, 2021. The game is immediately available on iOS and Android. The Japanese edition of the game also added a Final Fantasy VII Remake collaboration.
