Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol Officially Announced

Dotemu and Lucasfilm Games officially revealed Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol will return to consoles and PCs on June 29, 2021. They will be available together digitally on multiple platforms. However, if people want physical copies, those will be more limited and available through Limited Run Games.

The rerelease will offer single and local two-player games. In addition to looking slightly crisper, Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol will also include quality of life features. For example, the save system will be revamped to make it easier to pick up and continue progress. If you are playing on a platform that supports things like achievements or trophies, you’ll be able to earn them.

Like many classic rereleases, there will also be a Museum included. People can see the original box art and manuals for both games. There will be interviews with people who created them, like Game Designer Q&A Mike Ebert, in that section. Its gallery will also offer a look at concept art.

Here’s the trailer going over the updated release.

As for the physical copies, details are slim at the moment. Limited Run Games said it will reveal platforms and different packs for it at 1pm PT/4pm ET on June 14, 2021 during its annual stream.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 29, 2021. It will be $14.99 for the bundle that includes both. Physical copy details will be revealed on June 14, 2021.
