Genshin Impact Keqing Garage Kit

Fanmade Keqing Garage Kit Shown Off at WonFes Shanghai

A fan-made garage kit of Keqing from Genshin Impact was one of the many figures displayed at Wonder Festival Shanghai 2021. The pose and concept is based off of artist Mingyin Melon, and the prototype is by Awaken Association. As the majority of the people involved on the project are from mainland China, they are on Weibo rather than social media such as Twitter. [Thanks, Ruru_Berryz!]

In this garage kit, Keqing sits on the Hour of Soothing Thunder, which is the Sands of Eon piece in the Thundersoother artifact set. Though players normally may not incorporate Thundersoother artifacts in their Keqing build, the purple of the hourglass matches with the rest of her aesthetic. The painting of Keqing’s hair by Konghai Chuhui fades away at the ends, creating a translucent look for the hair.

The original artwork by Mingyin Melon has a slight censor on it, though the garage kit itself is safe for work. However, the way that Keqing sits and her lack of shoes still make this a rather sensual figure. As it is a fan work, there are no plans for this garage kit to go on sale.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is in development. The Version 1.6 update will go live on June 9, 2021.
