Aniplex opened pre-orders for a new BUZZmod Demon Slayer Giyu figure. It will release in April 2022. The 1/12 scale poseable figure will come with three different expressions, a cloth haori that can be taken off, and a “water breathing” effect made of three parts. It is originally priced at $131.98, but is currently available for a discounted $104.98. Pre-orders will close on July 20, 2021.
Giyu Tomioka is the Water Hashira from the Demon Slayer series and is known for being a stoic, serious character. Consequently, his figure will come with three facial expressions: a “standard” face with his signature stoic expression, a “closed eye” face, and a “roaring face” seen during fights. The figure will stand at around 150mm (about 5.9 inches). It will also include four different hand poses, two versions of his Nichirin blade (sheathed and unsheathed), and special leg parts as well as a zabuton mat for sitting.
Additionally, his removable cloth haori features a wire that runs from the collar to the edge of the cloth. This can be used to create dynamic poses. The “water breathing” effect will come in three separate parts. Like the figure, the effect can also be posed to make a variety of different shapes.

The BUZZmod Demon Slayer Giyu Tomioka figure is immediately available for pre-order on the Aniplex US store and will ship in February 2022. It will cost $131.98 but is currently available for a discounted price of $104.98. Pre-orders will close on July 20, 2021.
