The Witcher anime series from Studio Mir that will air on Netflix has a release date. On August 23, 2021, people will be able to watch the show. It’s based on an entirely original plot. Netflix also shared The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf cast list.
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is a prequel. Vesemir is the Witcher who trained Gerald. But before that, he was trying to find himself. He gets caught up in an adventure that involves Deglan, leader of the Witchers, and Lady Zerbst, their supporter, as the fortune-seeking monster hunter becomes a Witcher. He’ll also deal with the sorceress Tetra.

- Netflix also pointed out McTavish will play Dijkstra in The Witcher live-action adaptation.
