Aside from a live reading of Tales of Destiny, the Tales of Reading Live will have a talk corner for the voice actors. Voice actor Ryohei Kimura (who did not appear in Tales of Destiny but voices Sorey in Tales of Zestiria) will also be present as the MC. The six voice actors who will appear are:

  • Hikaru Midorikawa (Leon Magnus)
  • Kikuko Inoue (Philia Felice)
  • Naoko Watanabe (Chelsea Torn)
  • Shou Hayami (Woodrow “Garr” Kelvin)
  • Tomokazu Seki (Stahn Aileron)
  • Yuka Komatsu (Rutee Katrea)

Komatsu is replacing Yuka Imai, who is Rutee’s original voice actress. Imai retired from voice acting in 2018.

Tickets are available on the Tales of Reading Live website, starting from 3500 JPY ($32). There is also a special ticket for 4800 JPY ($44). That one allows customers to view exclusive videos before and after the live reading. These include cast commentaries, as well as the voice actors talking about favorite scenes.

Aside from this event, Bandai Namco will release a compilation Blu-ray of Mothership and major spin-off Tales of openings. Obviously, as the two more prominent titles from the series, Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Destiny‘s openings are on the Blu-ray.

The Tales of Reading Live event will air on September 19, 2021 for Tales of Destiny and tickets are available on the Tales of Reading Live website.
