Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Mari Figure Wears a White Plugsuit

Another Rebuild of Evangelion movie figure is on the way. This time, it’s of the heroine who joined the main cast in this movie series. KotobukiyaHer revealed a Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time Mari Makinami Illustrious figure. In this version of the character, she is wearing a white plugsuit instead of one of her typical pink ones. She will cost $127.99 and is expected to ship in April 2022. Kotobukiya’s new Mari figure is a 1/6th scale model. She’ll stand at over nine and a half inches tall. She’s perched atop an EVA in the pose. (For the sake of avoiding spoilers, we won’t mention which one.) Here’s a closer look at her.

This isn’t the only EVA pilot donning a white plugsuit like this in a new figure. Back in August 2021, Kotobukiya revealed and opened pre-orders for an Asuka Shikinami Langley figure. It is also based on her appearance in Evangelion 3.0+1.0. Like Mari, her figure is $127.99. Here’s a picture Kotobukiya shared of the Asuka and Mari Evangelion 3.0+1.0 figures together.
