FFXIV Y’shtola Dollfie Dream Doll Will Cost $980

An elaborate and expensive piece of merchandise made its debut at the Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer Live LXVI presentation. Square Enix is teaming up with Volks, a maker of high-end, vinyl, ball-jointed dolls again. This time, a FFXIV Y’shtola Dollfie Dream doll is on the way. She will cost $980 and is expected to ship in December 2022.

This Y’shtola Dollfie Dream doll is inspired by her FFXIV Shadowbringers Sorceress look. She will be about two feet tall. The developers supervised her creation, with Character Concept Artist Ayumi Namae specifically mentioned. People will get the vinyl ball-jointed doll, a wig that has her Miqo’te ears styled into it, a tail, and her full outfit. This includes multiple parts, like a top and skirt, one leather glove, boots with detailed soles, a ring and accessories, hair accessories, and other items to ensure accuracy. She also comes with Nightseeker, her staff from the last expansion.

Here’s a closer look at the doll.

Pre-orders for Y’shtola will only be open until November 21, 2021. This is a made-to-order doll, and when someone pays they must give the full amount immediately.

Volks is known for its elaborate ball-jointed dolls. These are made of vinyl and, depending on the model, can be one to two feet tall. Their eyes and wigs can be changed to alter their appearance. Also, the company often has collaborations such as this. In the past, NieR Automata 2B and 9S Dollfie Dream dolls appeared. Its Dolls Party Hometown Dolpa Kyoto 18 event allowed people to enter a lottery for a chance to buy a Fate/Grand Order Dollfie Dream Sister Caster/Scathach-Skadi or Re:Zero Dollfie Dream Emilia.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, with Endwalker due to appear on November 23, 2021. Those who pre-order the expansion will have access on November 19, 2021. The FFXIV Y’shtola Dollfie Dream doll is expected to ship sometime in December 2022. Pre-orders will be open until November 21, 2021.
